Back Ground

NuRa Is a company established in 1999 but only started its operations a year later. NuRa is currently owned by by two parties that own shares in the company. The controlling shares belong to a company called "Nuon" and the rest of the shares belong to the employees of NuRa. This is made possible by a trust fund called REESET (Rural Energy Employee Share Empowerment Fund). This fund was designed to allow for all NuRa employees to have some level of ownership to the company.
